Life ban for dog killer

A man who ran over and killed his dog has been fined $2500 and banned from owning another dog for life.
Bradley George Starcevich pleaded guilty in the Mandurah Magistrate's Court to placing his old, blind and deaf shih-tzu cross in the middle of the road and running over it in his car.
He then buried the dog and covered it with leaves and branches.
A person in the area witnessed the incident and contacted police.
30-year-old Starcevich claimed the dog had been barking and annoying his neighbours.
Starcevich has been banned from owning dogs for life.
