Another holdup for Indonesia-bound cattle
« Reply #1 on: September 20, 2012, 10:23:02 PM »
The Department of Agriculture says four consignments of Australian breeder cattle haven't been released to an Indonesian importer. DAFF says Indonesian authorities are concerned about the pedigree of the animals and their classification as breeder cattle.

In a written statement, DAFF says it's seeking clarification of the issues from the Indonesian Government and is consulting with Australian livestock exporters on the issue.

The Australian exporting company involved hasn't been confirmed.
