We're revisiting an issue that is just not going away for the government - live export.     

There is no doubt that public pressure against the trade is again building this time triggered by the abuse of Australian sheep in Pakistan.
 
Labor backbencher Janelle Saffin will again put forward her case to end live exports in caucus when Federal Parliament resumes next week
 
The Federal Government has spent 5 milllion dollars to protect exported animals with the Export Supply Chain Assurance System (ESCAS) but there are doubts about how effective it is.
 
Vets Against Live Export, says the latest case of animal cruelty in Pakistan is proof the whole live export system is failing.
