Road train carrying cattle rolls in Litchfield National Park

  A TRIPLE road train full of cattle has rolled in Litchfield National Park, reportedly killing about a dozen animals.
 
The driver was not injured in the crash near Ada Creek, on Litchfield Park Rd, shortly before 2pm.

Emergency services rushed to the scene where they found the rig with two trailers carrying cattle on its side.

Itís understood around 12 animals have been killed.

Many more escaped and had to be rounded up.

NT Police, Batchelor Health Clinic, NT Fire and Rescue, park rangers and CareFlight responded to the call.
