Anonymous for Animal Rights took these photos at the Arava border on 14 August 2001. The truck carrying Australian cattle was on its way to Zofar quarantine feedlot.

Most times, the unfortunate animals aboard, experience delays of many hours at the border crossing. During this time the animals are forced to stand in solid walled metal trucks which concentrate the heat within causing even more stress than the animals have suffered already. No, much needed water is provided for the animals. Many will die.
